How was the light rail experience dobby41? Did you enjoy? How about your lovely experience cycling across the harbour bridge? Was it exhilarating?

What a stupid answer - so typical!

Ferries without rail will stuff transport for decades. I have posted on that before.
Light rail - the real issue was the tunnels. They could have, and should have, been removed and used the 100% surface option. National could have done that but they prefer roads. Everyone knows that roads just congest - double the size and they still congest.

The cycle bridge was nutty but that wasn't what I was talking about. What's National's plan for a 2nd harbour crossing?

Did I say no ferries? "What a stupid answer-so typical" to quote someone who should no doubt blush at their own stu......
If the light rail answer was so obvious, why didn't Labour do it? Instead of 6 YEARS of spending millions and no track being laid.

Expecting the coalition to fix in 18 months, the worst 6 years of government this country has suffered is a little unreasonable IMHO.

No, you didn't say ferries - I did.
The rest of the answer was typically stupid.

Why didn't Labour get rid of tunnels? Because they wanted tunnels but really they are too expensive.
I just expect the Govt to head in the right direction but they aren't.

Oh, I get it now. Pointing out the gross incompetence of the Labour government was stupid in your view. Most useless, wasteful and ultimately dishonest government in living memory, probably in the country's history. How stupid of me.

And Labour under Clueless Cindy & Hapless Hipkins were heading in the right direction of course.

    Kiss my arse. Again.

It's all so hard isn't it.

I thought they had the experience and competence to deliver. The year of non-delivery?
