    We'll see how they get on with the hospitals given that the increase in operational funding for the year was way below inflation - 0.4%.
    Run the hospitals down again like they did last time.

    Couple that with school capital funding - bulging classrooms (or lack thereof) will make it hard to teach those basics that they are on about (you know - the false crisis they created).

    The new Health NZ commissioner (national party man) said pray for me in an interview to the media. That's encouraging.

    If Labour wants to win they should run on pensioner poverty (prescription charges, 2 bucks a week, health cuts).

    They have a decent record with the winter energy payment and healthcare. That's an issue for 2026, though.
    NZ voters of working age are moving overseas so it's slim pickings following traditional issues.
