No other great insight further to the AGM. Still plodding away.

The krill supply issue has to be a worry, as is plant utilisation. Spend all this money on capacity, and have to use it.....

    Firmly in the bottom drawer.

PAZ had delay after delay building their new factory.
Pity their Kril supplier had even more delays getting their new ship built.
In the meantime their other plant has to carry the business.
No news about their new product launches.Perhaps an update in a couple of months would be warranted.

They said their pet launch is in August - so would presume at Pet Fair Asia in Shanghai later in the month, where it looks like 5 halls of pet food/treats.

Unfortunate that has taken so long. That space has become so crowded so will be more challenging to get cut through. Also with consumer spending etc, likely more focus on spending on food, rather than treats - which are a bit of an extra.

There has also been a rise of the Chinese manufacturers for pet - much like milk powder etc. Their standards (and also marketing) have improved greatly in recent times, so being imported or from NZ isn't a free ticket to ride. Not sure what products Waitaki are doing, but expect will have some interesting/novel/functional offerings compared to the rest of the market, leveraging off human ingredients etc.

As a shareholder, sure hope they are successful.
