I've for all wondered the effect of such recommendations of share prices.....

NZX is small, quite concentrated with the number of (decent) companies and a small number of brokers dominate the market - Jarden, Craigs, FB.

With their funds under management and retail business, how much do they then pump the 'outperform' recommendations?? How much does it become a self-fulfilling prophecy?

As I type, TRA up 10c, and Tower has also been on a tear lately.....
