I had morning tea with a couple of a couple of friends last wednesday .
One confessed he had bought WHS at under $1.00, as he thought The Normans would most probably take them over, and at that price was little downside.
    I thought he was nuts......
    Wrong again.!!!
Now I realise he is very clever....lol.

That's the only thing that would make sense, the consumer goods sector has well and truly left WHS behind. Or more accurately WHS have fallen too far behind to recover in any great way.

A couple of Fridays ago I put a buy order in at 98 cents near the end of the day.
It wasn't actioned and over the weekend I lost my nerve, decided I was nuts, and cancelled the order.
So I'm both nuts and not very clever.......

    Me too peat.
In a quandary now as it has jumped past my 40% profit sell significantly ,and I had a longer term expectations .
Are you taking the advice not to sell , as it goes against my natural inclination .
This is the time when I need to go fishing

Based on the performance of the Board for the last few years….if they told me NOT to sell….I would be sellling.

Even if the buyout goes ahead….the problems of the group run deep and there is no quick gains here I reckon.

I would imagine they would have to table up at least $1.70 to convince all shareholders to part with their shares, any less would be a disaster for the board.
