Interesting last couple of days. Not as good as prices falling but god knows I have more than enough OCA, so if sentiment begins to turn positive I'm not going to complain.

Far too early to tell, but after 3 years of ever lower prices I think these RV players might see a decent turnaround in share price from here.

Huge pop across the board. Any reason(s)?

Forsyth Barr analyst report + RBNZ becoming more dovish most likely.

Term deposits will be looking for a new home with lower rates.

Investment homes will get the lions share, of course. Though there may be a trickle down to equities.

Residential sales commissions dived in June and the outlook for July is not much better

The real estate industry took a decent hit to the wallet in June as a savage decline in residential sales took its toll on commissions

Honestly bull..why so dramatic...Like surely this is not unexpected. Its been heralded for years.

For decades political administrations have ensured that house prices remained buoyant...J key for example was an advocate for encouraging high immigration into Auckland to keep house prices increasing...so everyone loved him.

Some folk I believe may now consider him quite distastefully.

I am willing to be corrected.

Thanks for that Bob. A very interesting article. A few investment ideas in there to ponder.
