What would the potential gains be? Or losses.
I wonder the same…if the loan goes through and if an asset sale is announced prior to CR?

Bonds back to 65-70c on the dollar now. If you bought at the lows you could have made 30% plus in less than two weeks. Bugger all volume though.
Way better risk/reward than the equity even at this price.

Bright has spoken and it’s as clear as it could possibly be.

What I cannot figure out is A2 being (if you take it at face value) so combative? Why fight with Bright? I respect they have MVM and can over time manufacture there, no big issues …why not go along to get along till that stage? Part amicably when the time is right for them ? I don’t really understand them going at it like this…it’s clear Bright are going to back and keep SML going, so I don’t understand A2’s strategy….

A2M simply has not commented publicly - I think it is a mistake to read that A2M’s silence means that A2M is being negative and anti-Synlait or anti-Bright.

In the interview with the Herald, Bright's Chairman said:
"Both a2 and Bright Food want to Synlait to stabilise. Without Synlait, there would not be prosperity for a2 Milk".
