Open kimono by Ryman's Chairman on what happened - lots of smoke and mirrors in the past and finally reality.

Arvida has joined Ryman in facing reality (to a certain extent - still more downside yet).

Oceania is waiting for a new CEO to do a clean up.

House prices declined for the second month in a row in May as vendors appear to be becoming more realistic in their price expectations.

So how can RV companies unit values keep going up ?

But …REINZ Chief Executive Jen Baird says the market shows a general theme of more this month with higher sales counts, increased stock levels, more listings, and properties selling more quickly than a year ago. These annual increases contrast with current challenges in securing finance, changes in the job market, and the wait on OCR and interest rate changes

Prices might be flat but activity getting stronger by month … RV operators have no excuse for not growing sales volumes

The supply and demand for RV units are different to regular homes. Strong demand for a shrinking amount of available units will keep prices up especially as all RV operators are reducing supply this year.

thanks for sharing. interesting watch. shows that the property market isnt just the problem. Costs growth vs revenue growth a big issue as well.

No sure that's the case at the moment with all operators having more stock than they would like. New residents typically need to sell a home first as well.

The upside is and what Winner refers to, is that volume is increasing. This typically is the first action in a change of cycle.

Well that told ya Bull! 🤣
It will be interesting if new players look at takeovers. Private equity particularly that can see the opportunity of reducing costs etc. and ride out the cycle.
Hopefully you find my posts helpful, but in no way should they be construed as advice. Make your own decision.
