Maybe they weren't in IFT and helped their mates out by taking the stock being sold

After seeing today's KFL nav report ...it seems they sold 3% of their holding last week ...maybe they want to flip IFT and come back as MFT is not going anywhere soon ...

Hi all. My latest column published on my Substack, Just the Business, takes a look at the retirement benefit Mainfreight wants to pay departing director Richard Prebble. You can find it here: https://justthebusinessjennyruth.substack.com/

Price still popping despite going ex-div. Any reason for the big run up?

I was wondering too as brought a few for a trust @ $69
    Freight rates up
    5 Analysts say worth $80.45
    Jarden buying?
Not at very large volumes yet?

Somewhat depressing news from ANZ Truckometer "Theheavy traffic index slumped markedly in June (figure 2), with the 5.2% fallunprecedented outside of lockdowns. Up until June, the data has held upmuch better than anecdotes about the state of the freight sector, but storiesabound of very light truck loadings. Some of the monthly fall could just bedata volatility, but it adds to the pile of indicators suggesting Q2 GDP couldmake for ugly reading"

" Ran into Don Braid recently at the coffee shop. Said words I liked "normalising supply chains", "improving" Got the impression that it's upwards from here.

Disc/ My largest holding on the NZX currently "
