We may see volatility in some commodities including gold in the short run. Still we haven’t seen second wave of bigger sell off in gold. Probably it could materialize in the second half of this year. USD is having some pause and it will go up sooner than later.

So far, barely 9% of the country has seen normal rainfall as the monsoon stopped advancing on June 15 and the rain deficit has been as high as 60-75% in recent days.
June has been this dry only thrice in the past 100 years. This has delayed the planting of crops, caused heat waves in parts of the country, and raised fears of inflation, but the Met department (IMD) is already expecting better rain in the next two months.

I won't be, XJO up 64, XGD up 1.3. Not much commitment for gold shares, zero in fact.
There's an article in today's WSJ that suggests gold will be a lot lower toward the end of the year.
