Big China Growth for Tesla
+115% year on year
+19% quarter over quarter
September had 52.2k units sold locally and 3.8k in exports=56.2k (record)
So much for the mainstream media and there FUD on dwindling demand in China.
China's EV adoption up 17.5% year on year from %4.7 in 2020 SEP.

Michael Burry from "The Big Short " fame now denies he had a 530million short position bet against Tesla as reported by Fud Media CNBC earlier this year.
..but was happy to run with it.
I just don't understand why the S.E.C don't get involved, it's clearly share price manipulation from fake news.
Fun fact (warning maybe offensive to those who don't celebrate money and success)
1 Elon Musk $202.1 B $0 50 Tesla, SpaceX United States 2 Jeff Bezos $191.7 B $0 57 Amazon
As Elon grinds away to be the wealthiest man in the world.
In a bull case scenario TSLA is likely to hit $10,000 per share by 2030
However it will most likely be split several times before then.
To (appear) politically correct.
We will likely see the first trillion dollar man in Elon Musk this decade
Celebrate success NewZealand, don't hate on it.
Interesting to see Long term TSLA bull Cathie Wood of Ark invest announced moving there
H.Q from socialist New York to Florida the same time as TESLA moves there H.Q from L.A Commiefornia to Texas.
Take note NZ government, regulations and high tax is only going to drive people and businesses away.
Dumbest post I have read since joining this forum.
-Your article is from 2019 and data from 2018
-E.Vs represent 3% off the total addressable market, check back in 10 years when E.Vs represent 50% and Tesla is delivering 20million units...per year.
-Demand is high for Tesla, Waiting list lasting months.
-Toyota,VW are "car" companies.
Tesla is-
-The world's largest super charging station company
-A solar panel company
-A energy storage company
-A solar roof company
-A artificial intelligence company
-developing robo taxi company
- Autonomous software development company
-Worlds largest robotics company developing the world's first humanoid...oh yeah and the world's largest EV manufacturer company.
Understand the difference between growth investing and value investing, one projects profit's the other relies on debt for share buybacks and is basically a zombie company relying on debt to keep its shareholders happy.(SKT)
Everything has to work for TSLA to hit 10k per share in 2030
Just remember
Elon Musk has proven many including myself wrong time and time again.

Former CTO and co-founder of Tesla
JB Straubel thought all automakers would immediately copy the technology of Tesla Model S 2012 and Tesla had to move fast to carve out a niche
But that didn't happen
And here we are today, Tesla, still, the best and largest EV producer, by far, in the world.
Your reading last year's worn out short seller's and Bear's play book CC.
Tesla is not only profitable, with >11 billion in cash/BTC reserves growing annually , they don't even need the carbon credits to be profitable
But of course you read there financial reports don't you?.. maybe not.
Tesla Paid Off $1.4B China Gigafactory Loan Early, Confirms Musk
Tesla is only joined by Ford on the list of US automakers who haven't officially filed bankruptcy
Tesla paid off the full $1.4 billion a whopping 16 months early. Tesla took the loan back in December 2019
$1.4 billion paid off in less than 18 months! wtf?
Profits Profits Profits $$$.
MELBOURNE (Reuters) - New Caledonia's Prony Resources said on Wednesday Tesla Inc had agreed to purchase more than 42,000 tonnes of nickel in a multi-year deal - a pact that is set to make it a key supplier of the metal to the U.S. electric car maker.

Unexpected considering Fed confirmed they may start tapering bond purchases in November ,this is usually a bearish sign for companies listed on the Nasdaq.
Perhaps its already priced in? Solid Q3 financials should steady the ship either way.
TNX 10y treasury down -1.96% overnight to %1.5490.
Our mainstream media here and in the US jumping all over a story that U.S NHTSA sent Tesla 2 letters why it hadn't recalled vehicles on safety concerns of its FSD beta.
I'll answer on behalf of Tesla:
-You don't need to recall it because it clearly states in the disclaimer, the driver needs to be in control of the vehicle "at all times "
-The same as cruise control on all other cars
- The same as all other manufacturers who have a form of FSD.
Why single out Tesla?
The same reason Tesla wasn't invited to the White house for Joe Bidens EV infrastructure bill, because unlike Ford and GM, Tesla isn't unionized.
And NHTSA is part of the government.
Tesla is the United States only defense against Chinas EV market .
They need to celebrate and protect Tesla, not regulate the company.
V.W is forecasting it may have to cut 30,000 jobs.
Then went on to blame Tesla because it can't compete with Teslas Gigafactories.
Tesla can build a 1EV in 9 hours ,V.W takes 30 hours.
Gee, Isn't it amazing when you invest in development and innovation?
30,000 jobs is nothing.
Think of Taxi, Uber,Collision industry. Auto mechanics, etc etc.
WASHINGTON, Oct 12 (Reuters) - More than 100 U.S. House lawmakers on Tuesday urged Speaker Nancy Pelosi to keep a $4,500 tax credit incentive for union-built electric vehicles (EV) in a massive spending bill.
Think Ford and GM, ever wondered why the unions used to be controlled by the mafia in the 60s and 70s ?
We strongly support "leveling the playing field" between non-union and unionized workforces by including the added $4,500 incentive to support union-made EVs," said the letter, led by Rep. Thomas Suozzi of New York.
Who's playing field?
Tesla Chief Executive Elon suggested on Twitter last month the EV proposal was "written by Ford/UAW lobbyists. ... Not obvious how this serves American taxpayers."
The bigger the battery, the heavier it is,the more costly it is, the longer it takes to charge, TESLA battery range is more than adequate,TESLA is working on battery technology that in the future will be fully charged in 5 minutes.
Much better than charging a ridiculously large battery overnight for extra driving distances you don't need.
Most of the cost of an EV is there battery which is why most manufacturers will struggle to ramp up production because battery materials are very slow to mine and expensive.
Tesla announced a 4680 battery will begin production soon, it will be cheaper to manufacture, it will be phased in all TESLA'S model, it will bring down the cost of there range of EVs, it will be added to there 25k EV model,it will charge faster and have a longer range than it's competitors.
Lucid haven't even sold a single car, check back in ten years to see if they haven't filed for bankruptcy.

Demand:
Currrent demand for Tesla evs is massive.
However
When Demand slows for there model Y and 3, they have the balance sheet to lower the costs of these vehicles increasing sales.
They also are preparing to enter new markets in the Semi trucking, Pick up/Utility trucks/Affordable E.V(25k) markets.
Millions more new customers coming this decade.
U.S Inflation data shows it slowing which is good for equities and growth stocks listed on the Nasdaq like Tesla .
I still believe the RBNZ jumped the gun far too quickly raising the OCR.
What we pay for petrol at the pump here has nothing to do with our OCR or our inflation.
That's out of our control, Increasing interest rates is only going to make it harder for business to recover when or if Auckland finally comes out of a strict lockdown.
Teslas investment into Bitcoin has increased in value more than 1billion usd.
Tesla does not trade BTC, it is used as a hedge against a devaluing dollar which they have greater than>12 billion in excess cashflow.
Like myself BTC is only a small position of their total net worth.

Also within 7% range of all time high set earlier this year.

I hope him and all TSLA shorts are crippling in pain going broke.
Tesla may be charged with an impairment charge for purchasing BTC.
It will effect the EPS but only a small impairment, no doubt mainstream media and Bear's will make a big deal out of it but should not be of concern.
Tesla cannot include the capital gain of the BTC in the earnings report unless they sell it which is unlikely.
Teslas newest fsd beta 10.3 being released next Friday to qualifying drivers.

Good times for the bull's who held strong and purchased more... I'll drive the dagger in on your behalf.

Elon Musk’s fortune swelled to a whopping $214.8 billion this week
increasing by $12.7 billion as Tesla stock posted steady gains every day and rose 7.3% from Monday to Friday to cross $800 per share for the first time since February.
Tesla outperformed the S&P 500’s 1.8% increase this week.
Elon Musk has addressed 200 Volkswagen executives via a video call after an invitation from the German carmaker's VW CEO Herbert Diess, who wants to galvanise VW's top brass for a faster pivot to electric vehicles.
In a post on Linkedin, Diess added that he had brought in Musk as a "surprise guest" to drive home the point that VW needs faster decisions and less bureaucracy for what he called the biggest transformation in VW's history.
"Happy to hear that even our strongest competitor thinks that we will succeed (in) the transition if we drive the transformation with full power," Diess said on Linkedin.
Diess said in his Saturday tweet that VW would continue its dialogue with Tesla.
"We will visit you soon in Gruenheide," the CEO said.
Diess warned last month that the planned opening of Tesla's car factory at Gruenheide near Berlin, the company's first in Europe, will force local industry to step up its game against the fast-growing U.S. electric vehicle maker.
^^ As I have stated before, Tesla can't transition the entire automotive industry over towards green energy by itself, there's a massive market to conquer.
China is the greatest threat to legacy auto manufacturers.
Expect a buy the news on an earnings call beat before the usually sell off from front runners this week for TSLA stock.
- Tesla's third-quarter deliveries jumped 73% year over year.
- Tesla reports its third-quarter financial results on Wednesday.
- The automaker is expected to post strong top- and bottom-line growth
- Elon Musks developers design there own chips offsetting supply demand
- China demand up for BEVs
- legacy auto makers caught with there pants down for the last decade and in a desperate attempt to cannibalize there ice vehicles for a share of 2nd place.
For those who simply don't understand TSLA share price and market cap
Tesla is not a car company, it's a software technology company that happens to sell electric vehicles.
Just like Google a search engine that happens to sell advertising revenue on YouTube.
Tesla doe's not compete with legacy auto manufacturers like Ford, VW, GM
Tesla competition is other growth technology companies, Google, Apple,BIDU, Rivian, Nio.
The name on of this thread needs to be changed to TESLA Technologies.
Of course Tesla is a car company. Just like GM with interests in many aligned and non-aligned areas of development, technology, manufacture and commerce. To suggest otherwise is silly. Almost up there with your fascinating use of apostrophies, which is the reason I read your posts. Congratulations for today's spectacular example - doe's. Excellent.

Just like this forum, when one is successful many are there to pull you down to there own failures.
Troll's and TeslaQ bear's are usually not very happy with there failures in life so prefer to blame others.
What makes me laugh is those who think like fungus pudding probably invested in a video Ezy store 15 years ago.
They just can't see change coming before it's too late.
Not financial advice but my own thoughts and opinions.
Should be a decent sell off after earnings call this week with traders taking profits,Im giving it a few days to bottom out .
TSLA stock up 1.00% in the pre market ahead of earnings call.
Nasdaq futures up 0.20%
Kiwi dollar strong at 0.7148 to USD, might be a good time to use the stronger exchange rate.
As in 2014 when the RBNZ increased the OCR the kiwi became weaker, perhaps FX trader's front running on inflation data
Not financial advice, lose money on your own terms and decisions.
Elon Musk has a 10billion tax bill(53%) to be paid in 2022, he can do what I do which is refinance or use margin, if he can't do that he will have to sell some shares on expiring options, it will only have a negative 2 or 3% on the share price.
Fund managers are in and out TSLA all the time, there the large spikes and dips you see every day on the candles.
Near Headwinds for TSLA /
-Traders sell off after expected earnings beat
-Fed tapering bond purchases in November
PT $1200 /mid late 2022.
Thanks to those who have appreciated my advice/updates.

If anyone has time, read through earlier posts this year.
If you read the hate from members like Crypto Crude and company, it's a fascinating insight on human psychology.
He is definitely not alone, obviously these people don't invest in Tesla and I doubt they have the knowledge or courage to short TSLA.
But the amount of time and energy they have been expressing by writing long drawn out posts about the negative effects of investing in TSLA boggles the mind,
Would that time not be better spent studying, following, learning more about there own investment vehicles to wealth?
No
We have a very insecure culture of underachieving in the financial markets in NZ, and would prefer to name call, make fun off, even when running out of ideas decide to act like a school teacher picking on pointless written text, or even send private death threats to someone who has a different vision of the world.
Truly sad but fascinating none the less.
Personally think it’s just best to totally ignore such people - just wastes everyone’s time in having to scroll through dozens of posts to find the ones that people have tried to articulate their findings and views on the sharemarket. My sincere thanks to those that do so.

Actually CC brings up a good point
Reasons why I would sell TSLA or any stock.
-PT reached
-Needing to take profits and or pay down Margin
-Tax or Margin principal may be due
-Investment thesis change
-short term/long term investment no longer of value
-company heading into different or wrong direction
- Change of CEO for the worse.
Tesla fit's none of these criteria
I do not invest blindly.
