Shambles. And with a private placement, there will be no support from those buying in to get discounted rights.
Glad I exited all (except a placeholder in case it was a discounted SPP) last week. At a 1c loss but I locked in 1/2 my profits earlier in the year. Will be a tough year, but if management is strong (not so sure) they will recover.
I am sure Heartland will give them heart by underwriting the offer...just think how many healthy hearts Heartland will be promoting by bringing this company to the point of manufacture.
This hearty approach to helping heartland business's is at the heart of their core operations...what could possibly go wrong :)
I am sensing some real negativity here... this well run company has gone to shareholders with a realistically priced issue that will undoubtedly be over subscribed thereby providing the necessary funds to complete the largest fish oil plant in the Southern Hemisphere and all I am is seeing is cruel jibes! Surely we should be supporting them as the look to add value to New Zealand raw material in a growing niche market, earning valuable export dollars. Shame shame shame on you all.
Right - off to get those damn Unicorns out of my vegetable garden - has been chaos signs the gnomes and pixies moved out :-)
$10 mill of market capitalisation gone in less than 24 hours. At 1.1 cents someone will need to start propping it up as once it gets under 1 cent there isn't going to be anyone taking up rights (if there was ever any chance anyway) and that means its all over.
Maybe Marlborough Lines Co will ride to the rescue? They seem to have made a decision to invest local. :D
Any word of terms of offer...one would have thought this would have been almost hand in hand with annoucement or do they just want it to self implode!
