Just read a couple of his books and was thinking it might be worth a shot to try out his system. Anyone tried it?

This is his website advertising his books, although it doesn't go into detail of his system: http://users.actrix.co.nz/wmgibson/

essentially, there are a system of rules to eliminate small and large companies from the total share company list, so you are left with medium companies. Then you work out a series of calculations on these remaining companies based on the previous 3 months share price and percentage change, and then do further calculations using the 3 month percentage change and p/e to determine the 4 best shares to buy. Each month this is repeated and you change your shareholding accordingly.

His concept is that you should be doing more with your life than looking at the sharemarket all the time, so dedicating 1 day per month to calculating out the maths and buying/selling where required is a more simple approach to investing which he reckons averages 35% over any 5 year period (plus dividends on top of that I think).
