Does anyone have the timeframes for the various milestones for weebit nanos dev to production?

Good to have its own thread. Has been discussed on Small Disruptive Tech stocks thread.Could you give us a summary and some links lewy to get it rolling.

This is all i could find
TECHNICAL
• Develop a 40nm Mbit array by mid-2018
• Improved Endurance and Retention to meet industry standards by
end 2018
• Define a plan and be on the path to develop 2xnm technology

Ok, done things about wbt...

They have invented a faster type of computer memory. This is significant. Ever seen the difference in speed between an ssd flash drive and conventional hdd in your computer? Massive. Well wbt have invented a chip that can potentially make faster ssd and other memory types.

It's also easy (cheap?) to make because the fabrication prices uses existing tech.

I see this in potentially every server in every company, giving benefits here. As it becomes mainstream, every computer. Not just limited to pc's and Macs and servers hdd, but also ram, and if it's cheap enough other devices like washing machines, etc.

They have so far tested the materials memory capabilities and made a memory module that's working but too large to scale up to use in standard computer memory. However, most recently they've managed to make a 40nm one, which means it can be scaled. That's significant, because to me, it means that it can work and is no longer a pipe dream. They are ahead of schedule, which suggests that they know what they're doing. Testament to this, they have a very impressive board, including a head honcho from Intel!

They have teamed up with done French company that has production facilities and are currently working on producing a 1Mb chip using their tech. I imagine this will be a concept but also a viable product for some devices (washing machines, etc.). I'm guessing they'll then scale it to other sizes or sell up to another memory company.

Comparable semiconductor companies sold for $40b to$400b, but conceivably I can see the upper limit being much more, depending.

Thanks Lewy.Showstring was the first to give the headsup on this i think, im sure he will drop in on the thread. Im still watching for a poss entry and see the price coming down after the news, looks like profit taking after a strong runup from 1.72c in Oct.. Reached a high of 7.6c on the 28th back to 5.5c today on 19mill shares traded on the ASX. cheers JT, holding a few BUD.

You guys covered it off nicely. I'm just happy to continue holding and waiting.
The tech sounds great, the team are great, all progress to date has met or exceeded expectations, so got no reason to doubt they'll pull it off.

Argh, this is ridiculous. I can't find which share registry WBT a registered with. Can anyone help me out? I can't see this info on the ASX website (which I find hard to navigate) L:(

WBT reaches silicon oxide ReRAM 1Mb array at 40nm milestone 3 pages 165.7KB (https://www.asx.com.au/asx/statistics/displayAnnouncement.do?display=pdf&idsId=01993191)

Another milestone reached on time. Weebit Nano recently announced it has extended its agreement with Leti to further develop and optimise its ReRAM memory technology. This will allow the acceleration of the optimisation process that will focus on improving the

quality of the 1Mb array, bringing the technology to the level needed to move to a production level fab (where silicon components are manufactured).

Good that the s/p had dropped back a bit pre expected announcement. Suggests people aren't getting ahead of themselves and realisemore research required before commercialisation.

Great news. I recently bought a few more of these so I really hope to see good news continue!

The bit i liked was "we have already had initial discussions with various leading global companies". Lots of good words in there. I also like that they previously said in an interview that they're keen to get some basic stuff out the door to start paying back investors asap.

I don't like the latest roadmap they published with some stretched out timeframes. I think it's what's responsible for the arguably low SP. Bu hey, i like the honesty and realistic estimates; contact negotiation is a lengthy process.

Interesting how little the SP reacted to the tech milestone. Clearly followers of wbt have high confidence in the ability of the nerds behind the tech, and i have to say that i do too.

Judging by previous milestones and SP, i think people thought they were ready to be dealing with the big markets by 2018/2019. I think they're now ready to see a contract proving that the ram can be sold.

SP should increase throughout today and tomorrow as mum and dad investors get the news and chance to react. I'll be interested to see if there's a new support level after today.

I believe that a contract in any form will push the SP to 0.85+

Just to be clear on my estimated SP for a contract, that is a contract to provide tech on the condition of it being further developed to suit another tech company's requirements.

... obviously a contract to sell x units / rights at a price of y will give rise to a SP based on a forward PE.

This share is a game changer for me and there is so much still to come. I wish I could remember who it was here on Sharetrader that alerted me to take a look at WBT. I knew it was a long term investment when I first put money in, and then the consolidation came and I quickly realised that if I was to make money on this I would need to keep building the investment. Best decision I have ever made. If anyone is thinking about getting into this stock, there is a pile of information on the weebit nano website and some great interviews on you tube. Do your research, I doubt you will be disappointed.

yeah this worked out great, I first got into it immediately after the reverse listing back in 2016 and traded/watched it for a few years
then loaded up big just before the run in Aug 2020 and now it's my first 30bagger and significant free carry
looking forward to the 100bagger+ status over the years :)

Still going strong after the recent cap raise. They got $100m in cash now which should help accelerate development and commercial deals.
Here's hoping for a good remainder of the year.
