Sydney, Aug 29, 2016 AEST (ABN Newswire) - VIDEO: Volt Resources Ltd ([IMG]ASX:VRC) are pleased to provide a Corporate Overview Video regarding the Company and its projects.

Tanzania

Tanzanian graphite projects have tended to be lower grade but larger flake size. Discoveries in Tanzania are centred around the Townships of Nachingwea (IMX, MNS) and Mahinga (KNL).

Mozambique projects have tended to be higher grade but smaller flake size. Discoveries to date have been centered around the town of Balama. (SYR, TON)

Volt Resources is uniquely placed with projects in the Balama Region of Mozambique and the Nachingwea region of Tanzania

Nachingwea

The Nachingwea Project consists of 18 tenements in South Eastern Tanzania within the highly prospective Mozambique Mobile Belt. Ten of the tenements are located in the Lindi Province with the remaining eight being located in the adjacent Mtwara Province bordering Mozambique. There has been considerable recent success from active exploration for graphite in the region, particularly around the regional centre of Nachingwea.

The Tenements are currently under application with the Tanzanian Ministry of Energy and Minerals with granting of the Tenements anticipated in the near future.

The Company has received positive early results of geological mapping on the company's Nachingwea Graphite Project. Multiple graphite outcrops have been identified on the initial tenements explored HQ-P 29031, HQ-P 29033 and HQ-P 29027. Outcrops up to 180m wide have been identified over a strike length of approximately 1,000m. Trenching and sampling will be undertaken to determine the grade of the zone and identify higher-grade zones within the mineralised unit to allow the design of a targeted drilling program.

Multiple other areas of sub-cropping graphite schist have been identified on these tenements explored to date.

These three key tenements of the Nachingwea Project have progressed with an offer to grant received from the Tanzanian Ministry of Energy and Minerals. The three tenements include the targets identified in the initial recognisance mapping. Further mapping has continued to identify additional outcrops on the two primary graphite targets defined on the project to date.

About Volt Resources Ltd

Volt Resources Ltd
(ASX:VRC) is a graphite exploration company listed on the Australian Stock Exchange under the ASX code VRC. The Company is focused on the exploration and development of the Jumbo Flake Namangale graphite project in Tanzania which has the potential to add to value for shareholders.
The Namangale Project is one of the largest graphite deposit in Tanzania containing a JORC compliant Inferred Resource of 179Mt @ 5.1% TGC. The project is exceptionally well located in South Eastern Tanzania being 140km from a deep-water port and 10km from sealed roads. Mineralisation at the three drilled deposits, occurs from surface and remains open in all directions. After the completion of this the recent capital raising the Company is now fully funded to complete the Pre-Feasibility Study into commencing production of high quality flake graphite targeting the rapidly expanding lithium-ion battery market. Volt has established a dominant tenement position in this extremely well located graphite rich part of Tanzania.

Volt resources has arguably the largest graphite deposit in Tanzania - and with 80% of its flakes jumbo and super jumbo this is LOOKING GOOD and they already have MOU's in place for offtake agreements :)

THEY have 204 Million tonnes of Graphite - MASSIVE DEPOSIT and a very LOW market cap - new director has come from MNS and was instrumental in growing MNS but saw VRC which are MNS's neighbors as an even better opportunity

Stephen Hunt has achieved phenomenal results with MNS and stated he just couldn't pass up the opportunity to get on board VRC and get it to where MNS is today - he also acknowledges that VRC have Tanzania's largest graphite deposit ( larger than MNS) and appears to have some big contacts in the graphene space which will most likely pay big benefits over time.

A CRITICAL ELEMENT TO ADDRESS IS FLAKE SIZE - (PRICE DIFFERENTIALS) -
Huge price differentials (and forecast to grow) between high and low value product concentrates
― 98-99% purity / +150 micron product versus 94-97% purity / sub-150 micron concentrate
The more in jumbo and super jumbo the higher IRR and revenue/EBIT we can achieve VRC have slightly higher jumbo/super jumbo than MNS not to mention a bigger shallow resource

Note: these comments are not to criticise MNS but to compare as I believe MNS have a great management team also and will continue to show the market the TANZANIAN STORY and therefore shine the spotlight on Volt resources (VRC)

Not only do we have the largest graphite deposit but, It’s shallow in that all drill holes went to a depth of less than 100m – translating to cheaper production costs down the line :)

What has been stated from Stephen is that he believes we are approx. 18 months behind MNS progress. however bearing in mind we are attempting to fast track Volt's graphite projects into production - I took a further look at these projects to ascertain which company could generate better returns for shareholders - so if we got to MNS stage with off take agreements ( lifeblood of any graphite miner) then we could potentially be at somewhere between 50- 80c share in 18 months -

Thats a whopping 700% to 1000% on todays current price. Before you all get too excited this required further thought, however the close we get to production the more we de-risk the project iMO and the result would be a higher share price as the wider investment community get interested - I personally think that the first wave of "serious" or "smart" money or" big end of town" however you want to say it wont be too far away now and PFS will probably be the first catalyst so its best to get in now only if you like the story.

- the KEY for all of us is if we do the homework on VRC now we make better returns for getting in at ground level so to speak - :
