Happy new year all. All the best for 2015 and beyond.

I'm wondering if anybody has any Google Docs or Excel spreadsheets for investing that they'd be happy to share.

What I'm particularly wanting is something that can be used to work out DCF's for gearing etc. But I'd be interested (as I assume others would be) in anything that can used to enhance my investing. Even just simple set ups would be fine.

If you are happy to post them here then please do, however if you'd prefer they were kept private then please PM me.

Help appreciated!

Cheers

I am also in this boat, I'd love to see what other valuation methods other are using and how they've set it up :)

PS I'm not worried if they're not aesthetically pleasing! And I won't be judging, merely trying to learn.

Cheers

i dont fully understand what you mean by using a DCF for gearing? is it just a DCF model you want?

cant upload anything atm but this is the formula my DCF sheet uses. It uses two different growth rates, short term growth rate then growth 2 is long term (2% or whatever).

=(((IF(A2>$B$2,(((1+$E$2)^$B$2)*(1+$F$2)^(A2-$B$2)),(1+$E$2)^(A2)))/((1+$G$2)^A2))*$I$2)

$B$2 is years growth 1
A2 is years increasing from 1
$E$2 is growth rate 1
$F$2 is growth rate 2
$G$2 is Discount rate
$I$2 is Dividend (per share)

Sum this formula until it starts to asymptote and you have the value of the company. Would be happy if anyone notices any mistakes with my formula, excel formulas are so hard to read.
